The QX's sophisticated body design is marked by a distinctive chrome “waterfall” style grille, High Intensity Discharge (HID) xenon headlights, Infiniti-style LED taillights, power sliding moonroof and power-operated rear liftgate.

The QX’s 4-wheel independent suspension includes an auto-leveling rear suspension. Maximum towing capacity (when properly equipped) is rated at up to 9,000 pounds. A refined 5-speed automatic transmission with tow mode, 4-wheel power-assisted disc brakes and 9-spoke 20-inch chrome-finished aluminum-alloy wheels are standard on both 2WD and 4WD models.
